United States Representatives
Katarina Garcia
Katrina, 10, is a 5th grader at Harmony Science Academy. She is the daughter of Melissa P. and Hector G. Garcia, Jr. Katrina’s father currently serves on the WBCA Board of Directors. She is an active young lady participating as a member of her school’s volleyball team, track team and Girl Scouts. She is a member of Martin Jr. FFA and has been taking both dance and violin lessons since the age of three. Her hobbies include scrap-booking, snow skiing, swimming and cooking.
Evan Valls
Evan is a seven year old 2nd grade student at Mary Help of Christians School. He is the son of Christina P. and Kenneth A. Valls. Evan’s mother is currently serving as a board member of the WBCA. Evan is a bright and outgoing young man who dedicates his time to his school work. Outside of school, Evan enjoys playing basketball, reading, and playing the piano.
Mexico Representatives
Paloma Chapa Mendoza
Paloma Chapa Mendoza is 9 years old. She attends the Colegio Irlandes of Nuevo Laredo and is in the third grade. Paloma enjoys spending time at the ranch and working with animals especially horses. Paloma participates in tennis and golf.
Eresto Knosel Reina
Ernesto Knosel Reina is 9 years old and a third grade student at United Day School. Ernesto is the son of Leonora Reina de Knosel and Knosel Gutierrez . He has two sisters, Elka and Greta. Ernesto plays tennis at the Country Club and participates with his school’s basketball and flag football teams. His favorite hobbies include playing video games.
